research for the book titled "The Porthole to Time", a young-adult
time-travel fantasy that takes place in New Mexico near
the area called Four Corners and the city of Farmington.
The book was printed by Maverick Publishing in Bend, Oregon in 1999. 




The above tribal information is from a flyer distributed by the
Farmington (New Mexico) CVB & BDO Offices; permission to use it in the
introduction to "The Porthole to Time" was generously granted by the
Navajo Nation at Window Rock through their Parks and Recreation Department.
